About Us

I've lived in Texas all my life, with the exception of 4 years living in Germany during my service to this country in the late 90s.  My family has been in Texas for 8 generations (on both sides) and settled in central Texas just before the Texas Revolution in 1835.  I'm about as "native Texan" as it gets.  I've had the opportunity to see just about every square mile of this great state - north, south, east and west.  It's no wonder that people from Texas always have a lot to say when you ask them where they're from.  It's also no wonder that great people like Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett, and Sam Houston came here from the east to liberate this great country (now state) and to fight for our freedom.  The people who call Texas home are very proud of our heritage and believe in staunch independence .  That's what founded this country (state).

I first came to New Braunfels in 1970 and have witnessed all of the wonderful attributes of this community, along with the tremendous German influence that makes this community great.  I've been all over the world and I've never seen another place like it.  I honestly don't think you'll find friendlier people or a better community anywhere.  From the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers to the waters of Canyon Lake, this area has much to offer it's residents in the way of outdoor activities, dancing, dining, and just a good, simple way of life.

We founded Corridor Real Estate Brokers with two primary goals - to work with the best clients on the planet and to represent our clients in a way that no one else can.  We chose to open an independent, boutique brokerage to better match the needs of our clients and to have complete control over the services we offer.  It's no surprise that world of larger, conglomerate real estate franchises is not for us.  It's safe to say that our clients do not appreciate being treated like cattle in the marketplace and they don't like experiencing the consistent mediocrity of larger, conformist brokerages.  We're different, we're very independent, and we won't stop until you're properly represented and taken care of like you'd take care of your own family.  Everyone is someone's son, daughter, father or mother and you deserve the respect and care we'd give to our own family.  We'll settle for nothing less.  This is the kind of place where you can come in anytime you want, have some coffee with us, and discuss anything that's important to you.

I am a former U.S. Army officer (my wife, Bobbie, is still on active duty in the rank of Major), we have 6 children, and we love the great outdoors.  With children, of course we spend a lot of our free time supporting their interests including sports (soccer, baseball, football, & gymnastics), hunting, camping, and traveling across this great land of ours.  Bobbie & I graduated from Texas State University (then Southwest Texas State) in San Marcos.  I was also educated at Texas A & M University (send your jokes!) prior to my time at Texas State University, and a couple of my girls may be headed there in the future as well.  The photo on the right is Veronica (then 9 years old) with 4 Texas A & M Yell Leaders.  She already knows what school she'll be going to and what she'll be doing.  Her younger sister will also probably follow suit and her twin brother's a die-hard University of Texas fan.  That should make for some interesting Thanksgiving holidays in the future.
